Traffic Regulations.
Regulations made by the Governor in Council under section 3 of the Vehicles and Traffic Regulation Ordinance, 1912, Ordinance No. 40 of 1912, this 29th day of April, 1920.
The Regulations made by the Governor in Council under section 3 of the Vehicles and Traffic Regulation Ordinance, 1912, on the 6th April, 1916, and published in the Gazette on the 7th April, 1916, as Notification No. 141 as amende by the Regulation made by the Governor in Council on the 27th April, 1916, and published in the Gazette on the 28th April, 1916, as Notification No. 168 and as further amended by the Regulation made by the Governor in Council on the 27th July, 1916, and published in the Gazette on the 28th July, 1916, as Notification No. 324 and as further amended by the Regulation made by the Governor in Council on the 2nd November, 1916, and published in the Gazette on the 3rd November, 1916, as Notification No. 472 and as further amended by the Regulation made by the Governor in Council on the 28th December, 1916, and published in the Gazette on the 29th December, 1916, as Notification No. 561 and as further amended by the Regula tions made by the Officer Administering the Government in Council on the 22nd November, 1917, and published in the Gazette on the 23rd November, 1917, as Notification No. 514 and as further amended by the Regulations made by the Governor in Council on the 30th May, 1918, and published in the Gazette on the 31st May, 1918, as Notification No. 202 and as further amended by the Regulations made by the Officer Administering the Govern- ment in Council on the 19th December, 1918, and published in the Gazette on the 20th December, 1918, as Notification No. 490 are hereby rescinded and the following regulations are substituted therefor :-
Licences.
1. The Captain Superintendent of Police shall keep a book to be called the Register of Licences in which he shall cause to be entered full particulars of the issue, renewal, transfer, endorsement, and cancellation of licences.
2. The Captain Superintendent of Police shall issue licences in his discretion, sub- ject to appeal to the Governor in Council by any person aggrieved. He may also, in the case of any breach or disregard of these regulations, cancel any licence at any time, sub- ject to a like appeal.
3. A driver's licence is required annually in respect of the vehicles enumerated in the following table :-

4. The Captain Superintendent of Police may issue a learner's licence at a fee of $1, valid for two months, to an applicant who proposes to learn how to drive a motor
car.
The holder of such licence may drive only over such road or roads as may be specified in his licence, and he shall at all times when driving be accompanied by at licensed driver.
