Mr. BRERETON, on behalf of the wholesale dealers, also addressed the Council. Mr. RYRIE then addressed the Council, and moved that the second reading of this Bill be post- poned for one Calendar month from the date hereof.
Mr. MACEWEN seconded the motion, and addressed the Council.
The Acting Attorney General addressed the Council.
The Chief Justice addressed the Council, and moved, as an amendment, that the further debate
on the Bill be adjourned to Friday, the 1st proximo, at 3 P.M.
The Treasurer seconded, and addressed the Council.
Mr. CHATER addressed the Council in support of the motion for postponement.
