No. 50.-With reference to Notification No. 3 published in the Gazette of the 9th January, 1920, it is hereby notified that His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to add the name of Sir ROBERT HO TUNG, Kt., to the list of members of the Committee appointed to enquire and report on the question of the development of the economic resources of the Colony of Hongkong.

No. 51.-The following firms have been granted licences to trade under the Non- Ferrous Metal Industry Ordinance, 1919, Ordinance No. 1 of 1919 :-

No. 52. It is hereby notified that His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to exclude the Police Magistrates' Department from the operation of the Holidays Ordi- nance, 1912, Ordinance No. 5 of 1912, on Saturday, the 21st February, 1920.

IMPORTS AND EXPORTS DEpartment.

No. 53. With reference to Notification No. 554 published in the Gazette of the 5th December, 1919, prohibiting the import of foreign dyestuffs, it is hereby notified that Dyes actually shipped before the 5th December, 1919, or which will be actually shipped from the country of export before the 5th April, 1920, in execution of orders placed prior to 5th December, 1919, will be allowed to be imported.

Revocation of Import Licences.

No. 54. It is hereby notified that, in pursuance of Rule 25 of the Rules made by the Governor in Council under sections 3 and 4 of the Importation and Exportation Ordinance, 1915, all Import Licences which have been granted under the provisions of the said Rules are revoked from the 24th day of January, 1920.

Exports to North Russia.

No. 55.--The following extract from the Board of Trade Journal dated the 27th November, 1919, is published for information :-

The Board of Trade announces that an Open General Licence which will come into force forthwith has been issued permitting the export of all goods on List "C" to Archangel and Murmansk. Applications in res- pect of the export of these goods to the destinations named need no longer be submitted to the Import and Export Licensing Section, Board

of Trade.
