An Ordinance enacted by the Governor of Hong. kong, with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Council thereof, entitled The Coroner's Abolition Ordinance Supplemental Ordinance, 1889.

E it enacted by the Governor of Hongkong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:-

1. Whenever any enquiry as to the cause of a death has been held by a Magistrate without a jury under the provi- sions of Ordinancé 17 of 1888 the Magistrate shall forth- with return the depositions taken by him on such enquiry to the Attorney General together with a certificate in the form in the Schedule hereto duly filled up and signed by him.

Passed the Legislative Council of Hongkong, this 2nd day of January, 1889.

deceased.

*7. Any suspicious. circumstances which point to any person or

persons as having caused the death.
