Rule made by the Governor-in-Council, under section 3 of the New Territories (Regulation) Ordinance, 1899, (Ortinance
No. 8 of 1899), this 30th day of May, 1907.
From this date until further notice Crown Rent shall be paid in the New Territories on such land now held under agricultural lease from the Crown as the Assistant Land Officer shall decide to have been converted into salt pans land at such rate as the Governor in each case shall direct but so as not to exceed a maximum of $15 per acre per annum. Provided always that this Rule shall not apply to any land for which special terms have already been sanctioned by the Governor-in-Council.
