Minutes of the proceedings of the SANITARY BOARD, at a meeting held on Friday, the 4th day of December, 1891:----

Minutes. The minutes of a meeting held on the 27th November, 1891, were read and confirmed.

Water Analyses.--A report—which had been circulated to Members--of analyses made on Tai-tam and Pok-fu- lam waters drawn from the respective conduits and mains during the month of November, 1891, was laid on the table.

Mortality Returns.-The returns for the weeks ended the 28th November and 5th December, 1891, respectively— which had been circulated to Members-were laid on the table.

Public Latrine.-An application from Mr. Wong Kar for permission to construct a public latrine at 44, East Street, Inland Lot 23A, was considered. It was agreed that the Secretary inform the people in the neighbourhood of the application which had been made and enquire if they have any objections to offer to the construction of the proposed latrine.

Adjournment.--The Board then adjourned till Wednesday, the 23rd day of December, 1891.
