lately trading with others under the style or firm of RUSSELL AND COMPANY at No. 9 Praya Central Victoria Hongkong and else- where Merchant having been adjudged Bank- rupt under a Creditors' Petition for adjudica- tion in Bankruptcy filed in the Supreme Court of Hongkong on the 20th day of July 1891, a public sitting for the said Bankrupt to pass his last examination and make application for his Order of Discharge will be held before the Supreme Court on Saturday the 5th day of December 1891 at 11 of the clock in the fore- noon precisely.

NOTICE is hereby given that a Petition
for the winding up of the above named Company by the Supreme Court of Hongkong was on the 23rd day of November 1891 pre- sented to the said Supreme Court by HENRY CRAWFORD and JOHN MACCALLUM trading at Victoria Hongkong and elsewhere as LANE CRAWFORD AND COMPANY and by the HONG- KONG AND CHINA GAS COMPANY LIMITED of Victoria aforesaid Creditors of the said Company. And that the said petition is di- rected to be heard before His Honour Sir JAMES RUSSELL, Knight, C M.G., Chief Jus- tice on Wednesday the 9th day of December 1891 at ten o'clock in the forenoon and any creditor or contributory of the said Company desirous to oppose the making of an Order for the winding up of the said Company under the above Ordinances should appear at the time of hearing by himself or his Counsel for that purpose and a copy of the Petition will be furnished to any creditor or contributory of the said Company requiring the same by the undersigned on payment of the regulated charge for the same.
