Notice is hereby given, that Mr. James Underwood (engaged in the Bêche-de-mer Fishery) reports the existence of a detached patch with about 10 feet over it at low-water spring tides, about 51⁄2 miles due north from the north-west extreme of Lizard Island.

Vessels intending to use the "One and a-half Mile" Opening, should, when about 2 miles from the north-west extreme of Lizard Island, haul to the eastward, until North and South Direction Islands are in line, which course will lead through the Opening.
