His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has, with the advice of the Executive Council, been pleased to appoint CHARLES MCILVAINE MESSER to be a Director of the Widows and Orphans' Pension Fund during the time he holds the office of Colonial Treasurer.

With reference to Government Notification No. 911 of the 2nd November, 1906, His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased to appoint under Section 3 of the Public Health and Buildings Amendment Ordinance, 1903, (Ördin- ance No. 23 of 1903), Major T. P. JONES. RA.M.C.. to be a Member of the Sanitary Board during the absence on leave of Lieut.-Col. J. M. REID, R.A.M.C.

No. 312.-His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased to appoint WILLIAM ARTHUR CRAKE, M.I. Mar. E., Assistant Government Marine Surveyor, to act as Government Marine Surveyor, during the absence on leave of JAMES MACDONALD, with effect from the 1st instant.
