Section 142 of the Companies Act 1862 that a General Meeting of the Members of the above named Company will be held at the Office of the undersigned, No. 28 Yokohama, on Monday, the 26th day of November, 1894, at 3.30 o'clock in the afternoon for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding up has been conducted and the property disposed of and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the liquidator and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts and documents of the Company and of the liquidator thereof shall- be disposed ot.

sponsibility of the late JOHN STEWARD A- PRAIK in the firm of DOUGLAS LAPRAIK AND COMPANY ceased to exist and that as from that date the undersigned JOHN HUGHES LEWIS became and now is the sole person carrying on business under the said firm name of DOUGLAS LAPRAIK AND COMPANY.

And further that the Estate of the said JOHN STEWARD APRAIK is solely liable for all debts and liabilities and is solely entitled to all assets of the said firm up to the said 13th day of July, 1893.
