No. S. 294. It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in duplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for construction of a teakwood motor launch", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Friday, the 17th day of October, 1919.

Specifications should be enclosed with the tender.

Length overall 40′ 0′′, Breadth extreme 8′ 9′′. Depth moulded 4' 0".

Draft about 3 feet.

A new 27 B. H. P. "Gleniffer" motor will be supplied by the Government.

Shafting, propeller, stern tube, and fuel tanks, etc., to be supplied by the contractor.

The contractor to state a time in which the launch can be handed over fit and ready for use.

The launch to be tested by two hours running at full speed.

After the trial the motor to be opened up for examination before being taken over.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
