Application for Registration of a Trade Mark.
NOTICE is hereby given that the UNION
TRADING COMPANY, of Victoria, in the Colony of Hongkong, have on the 30th day of April, 1919, applied for the registration in Hongkong, in the Register of Trade Marks, of the following Trade Mark :----
UNION
in the name of the UNION TRADING COMPANY, who claim to be the proprietors thereof.
The Trade Mark is intended to be used by the applicants forthwith in respect of the follow- ing goods:
Chemical substances used for agricultural, horticultural, veterinary, and sanitary purposes, in Class 2.
Raw or partly prepared vegetable, animal, and mineral substances used in manu- factures, not included in other classes, in Class 4.
Unwrought and partly wrought metals
used in manufacture, in Class 5. Machinery of all kinds, and parts of machinery, except agricultural and horticultural machines included in Class 7, in Class 6.
Cutlery and edge tools, in Class 12. Substances used as food, or as ingredients
in food, in Class 42.

the style or firm name of the YAT SING (a) at Nam Ling, Province of Kwong-si, Republic of China, and at Victoria, in the Colony of Hongkong, has on the 25th day of April, 1919, applied for the registration in Hongkong, in the Register of Trade Marks of the following Trade Mark :-

representation of two Boys standing side by side, each holding a scroll with Chinese characters thereon; the
scroll on the right reads as follows

Chinese Tissue Paper, in Class 39.
The applicant disclaims the exclusive use of the words "Manufacturers of Paper of Superior quality".
A facsimile of the said Trade Mark can be seen at the office of the Registrar of Trade Marks and the office of the undersigned.
