His Excellency the Governor, on the recommendation of His Excellency the General Officer Commanding, has been pleased to appoint DONALD MACDONALD to be Lieutenant in the Field Battery
of the Hongkong Volunteer Corps vice Lieutenant H. E. DENSON seconded.

Notice is hereby given that the firm of B. FÜRTI, of Vienna, Austria, have complied with the requirements of Ordinances 16 of 1873 and 20 of 1895, for the registration in this Colony of their Marks as applied to matches and lights ; and that the same have been duly registered.
