Spencer Gulf-Wallaroo Jetty Light.
REFERRING to Notice to Mariners, No. 5 of 1918, masters of vessels, pilots, and others are hereby informed that, on and after the night of January 4th, 1919, the Wal- laroo Jetty Light will be altered from a fixed to a flashing light. The red sectors will remain unaltered, except that the light will no longer be a fixed one; and the green sector which shows the deepest water approaching the jetty will be abolished, and, instead, show white.
Approximate position-Lat. 33° 55' South, Long. 137° 36′ East. Character-30 flashes per minute (light, '8sec.; eclipse, 1·2secs.). Charts affected-Admiralty Charts Nos. 402 and 2389. Publication affected-Australia Directory, vol. I., p. 250.

NOTICE is hereby given that Kenushi Misaki lighthouse on Kenushi Misaki, W. coast of Karafuto, has been shown (see Notification No. 1320 of Department of Communica- tions, October, 1918), since the 22nd of December, 1918.

N. W. Coast of Kiushu.
Notice is hereby given that Wakamiya staff light on the N. point of Nyaku-shima, Iki island, which is now on the course of reconstruction to the lighthouse, will be with- drawn on the 1st January, 1919,.and on and after the same date the reconstructed light be shown as follows:-
Wakamiya Lighthouse.
Description:-Octagonal stone tower, painted white.
Height of light :- -25 shaku above the base and 342 shaku above the sea level. Character of light :--The 5th order Acetylene gas Occulting white, duration of
light 4 seconds, and of eclipse 2 seconds.
Power:-1,300 candles.
Visible distance:-21 nautical miles in clear night.
N.B.-The position and illuminated arc of the light are as proper.
