Collinson Reach Barrier-Removal of Iron Piles.

NOTICE is hereby given that the removal of the iron piles of Collinson Reach Barrier, now nearing completion, does not mean that the water to the Southward of the Black Buoy and to the Northward of the Light Station is clear of obstruction.

The passage for vessels is still, as heretofore, between the Buoy and the Light Station.

LOCAL NOTICE TO MARINERS, No. 147.

Collinson Reach Barrier-Fog Bell.

NOTICE is hereby given that, pending the reconstruction of the Fog Bell mechanism at Collinson Reach Barrier Light Station, in response to a steamer's whistle during fog four strokes on the bell will be sounded in quick succession at intervals of about thirty seconds, and continued till the steamer has safely passed the Light Station.
