The general surface scavenging of, and the removal of household and trade refuse, and animal manure from, the City of Victoria and Hill District.

For specification, period of contract and full particulars apply at the Sanitary Board Offices, "Beaconsfield House."

No tender will be received unless the person tendering produces a receipt to the effect that he has deposited in the Treasury the sum of $350 as a pledge of the bona fides of his tender, which sum shall be forfeited to the Crown if such person refuses to enter into the usual bond, should the tender be accepted.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender,
