NORTH CHANNEL-ENTRANCE TO THE YANGTZE.
Intended changes in buoyage of Tsungming Crossing.

HAVING reference to Notice to Mariners No. 278 (Special) Notice is hereby given that the following changes in the buoyage of the Tsungming Crossing will be effected on or about the 8th March.
East Entrance Gas-lighted Buoy will be shifted 1.49 miles, N. 78° W. to a position 3.94 miles N. 47° E. from the Quarantine Beacon. It will then mark the Northern side of the Channel.
First Crossing Buoy will be shifted 0.63 miles S. 79° 10′ W. to a position 2.69 miles N. 39° 30′ E. from the Quarantine Beacon.
Second Crossing Buoy will be shifted 0.43 miles S. 12° 18′ W. to a position 1.43 miles N. 7° 50' E. from the Quarantine Beacon.
Note:-Vessels navigating the Crossing by night will then be able to steer from Gas buoy to Gas buoy.

Probable alterations in Aids to Navigation.
NOTICE is hereby given that alterations in the positions of the Aids to Navigation marking the Channels across the Woosung Inner and Outer Bars, in consequence of the Conservancy operations, will not be notified unless their characters, or relative positions to the Channels they mark, be changed.
