No. 831.-It is hereby notified with reference to Clause 3 (5) of the conditions governing Tenders for Passenger and Vehicles Ferry published as Government Notifica- tion No. S. 357 in the Government Gazette of the 2nd October, 1931, that provided that the particulars of vessels, other than special type vessels, are given in sufficient detail to enable the Government to satisfy itself that the vessels are suitable for the service required, drawings and specifications need not be provided.

No. 832.-The scale of fees charged by the Passport Office, as from the 1st of January, 1932, inclusive, will be as follows:----

Issue of Passport

Issue of Travel Certificates and similar documents, each....... Renewal of passport, for each year of renewal

Endorsement of passport, otherwise than at the time of issue

or renewal

Transit visa, normal fee

0.80

Entry visa, normal fee

In the case of visas granted to nationals of those countries which charge British subjects visa fees in excess of those quoted above, reciprocal charges will be enforced converted, until further notice, at the following fixed rates of exchange :--

H.K. $0.901 shilling (gold).

H.K. $4.00 U.S. $1.

H.K. $0.801 franc (gold).

Particulars concerning the fees charged in any particular case may be obtained on application at the Passport Office, Colonial Secretary's Department.
