Regulation made by the Governor in Council under sections 25 (4) and 42 of the Merchant Shipping Ordinance, 1899, Ordinance No. 10 of 1899, on the 16th day of December, 1931.

Table M in the Schedule to the Merchant Shipping Ordinance, 1899, is hereby further amended by the insertion, next after regulation 7 F, of the following regulation:- 7G. The portions of the sea wall for a distance of 35 feet measured each side from the Wilmer Street Ferry Pier situated between Wilmer Street and Eastern Street shall be kept clear of vessels. No vessel shall be brought alongside or lie off any of the said portions of the sea wall, nor shall any vessel, other than ferry vessels using the said pier, approach any of such portions of the sea wall.

In regulation 2 of the regulations published by Government Notification No. 548 in the Hong Kong Government Gazette of the 5th September, 1930, the name The China Navigation Company, Ltd." is substituted for the name "The China Navigation Steamship Co., Ltd. '

It is hereby declared by order of His Excellency the Governor in Council that Amoy is a place at which an infectious or contagious disease, namely, small-pox, pre- vails.
