With reference to the annual list in two parts co ng the names of persons authorised by the Governor in Council to perform the duties ored by the above mentioned Ordinance to be performed by an auditor, published as Government Notifica- tion No. 471 in the Gazette of the 24th July, 1931, the following further additions to part I of the said list are now published,

Rule made by the Governor in Council under section 56 (a) of the Trade Marks Ordinance No. 40 of 1909, on the 11th day of December, 1931.

The Trade Mark Rules as published in Regulations of Hong Kong 1844-1925 at page 361 are hereby amended by the addition of a new rule after rule 14 on page 364 of the said Regulations, which new rule shall be numbered 14A and shall be as follows:

14A. As provided by the Geneva Convention Act, 1911 (1 and 2 Geo. 5, of registra- c 20) and (Colonies) Order in Council, 1917, and the International Convention for the Amelioration of the Condition of the Wounded and Sick in Armies in the Field, Geneva, 1929, no person, association, firm or company shall, without the authority of the Army Council, register or use as a trade mark the heraldic emblem of the Red Cross on a white ground formed by reversing the Federal Colours of Switzerland, or the words Red Cross or "Geneva Cross", neither shall any such person, association, firm or company register or use the Arms of the Swiss Confederation or marks constituting an imitation, whether as trade marks or as parts of such marks.
