The rainfall for the month of September at the Botanical Gardens was 14ins. 82 on 22 days, at the Matilda Hospital, Mount Kellett, it was 13ins. 15 on 19 days, at Fanling, 13ins. 31 on 19 days, and at the Police Station, Taipo, 12ins. 53 on 19 days.

The lowest reading of the barometer (M.S.L.) was 29ins. 242 at 14h 55m. on the 2nd.

The maximum gust velocity as recorded by the Dines-Baxendell anemograph, was at the rate of 94 miles per hour at 21h. 00m. on the 2nd.
