Regulation made by the Governor in Council under section 3 (1) (b) of the Tobacco Ordinance, 1916, Ordinance No. 10 of 1916, on the 17th day of September, 1931.

The scale referred to in Regulation 1 of the Drawback Regulations of the 13th February, 1929, which scale has from time to time been amended or revised as appears by Government Notification No. 272, of 1931, now is and shall be :-

(a) On Cigars at the rate of.....

(b) On Cigarettes at the rate of

(e) On Tobacco manufactured in Chinese fashion..

(i) without the addition of oil at the rate of

(ii) with the addition of not more than 17% of oil at the

rate of.....

(d) On other manufactured tobacco at a rate based upon the duty originally paid on the tobacco used in the manufacture. Such rate to be fixed by the Superintendent in each case.

Regulation made by the Governor in Council under section 95 of the Liquors Consoli- dation Ordinance, 1911, Ordinance No. 9 of 1911, on the 17th day of September, 1931.

The regulations made on the 21st day of January, 1926, and published in the Government Gazette of 29th January, 1926, as Government Notification No. 41 are hereby amended by the rescinding of paragraph (2) of regulation 1 and by substituting therefor the following paragraph:-

(2) Alcohol and liquid containing alcohol shall be considered to be denatured when it contains not less than the same quantity, bulk for bull of Chinese vinegar containing not less than two per cent. of acetic acid.
