Regulation made by the Governor in Council under section 23 of the Waterworks Ordinance, 1903, Ordinance No. 16 of 1903, on the 4th day of September, 1931.
Regulation 5 of the regulations made by the Governor in Council under section 23 of the Waterworks Ordinance, 1903, and set forth on pages 307-322 of the Regulations of Hong Kong, 1844-1925, amended as appears in Government Notification No. 495 of 1927, is hereby further amended by the rescission of the first paragraph of such regula- tion and the substitution therefor of the following paragraph,—
The following rent shall be paid into the Treasury for the use of meters :-

It is hereby declared by order of His Excellency the Governor in Council that Shanghai is a place at which an infectious or contagious disease, namely, cholera, prevails.
