NOTE: The general effect of this Order is to increase by about 25% the court fees payable in actions and matters in the Original and Summary Jurisdictions of the Supreme Court. A few fees are increased by more than 25%, some fees are increased by less than 25%, and some fees are not increased. In the Summary Jurisdiction no increase is made in respect of claims not exceeding $500, wherever it is conveniently possible to make a distinction.
The Order will have the incidental effect of increasing the court fees payable in the Admiralty Jurisdiction of the Supreme Court except in so far as such fees are fixed by the Appendix to the Schedule to Ordinance No. 6 of 1896. It will also have the incidental effect of increasing certain fees payable in the Bankruptcy Jurisdiction of the Supreme Court.
