No. 326.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. THOMAS GEORGE STOKES to be an Official Justice of the Peace for the Colony of Hong Kong.

No. 327. His Excellency the Governor has received information from the Secre- tary of State for the Colonies that Mr. DONALD DIXON EDGAR has been appointed a Vice- Consul for the United States of America in Hong Kong.

No. 328. His Excellency the Governor has, under instructions from the Secretary of State for the Colonies, been pleased to recognise Senor WALDEMAR DE ARAUJO, provi- sionally and pending the issue of His Majesty's Exequatur, as Consul for Brazil in Hong Kong.

No. 329.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. EDWIN TAYLOR to be a Director of the Widows' and Orphans' Pensions, vice Mr. CHARLES MCILVAINE MESSER, O.B.E.
