It is hereby declared by order of His Excellency the Governor in Council that Saigon is a place at which an infectious or contagious disease, namely, cholera, prevails.

THE UNIVERSITY ORDINANCE, 1911.

1. The Court of the University of Hong Kong, on the 23rd day of December, 1929, in exercise of the power in that behalf contained in section 14 of the University Ordi nance, 1911, Ordinance No. 10 of 1911, amended the Statutes of the University as follows:-

(1) by the rescission of statute 22 and by the substitution therefor of the following

statute,

BENEFACTIONS.

1. Subscribers who prior to the opening of the University have sub- scribed a sum of $500 and upwards may have their names inscribed on a tablet in the wall of the Hall of the University.
