The rainfall for the month of March at the Botanical Gardens was 4ins. 06 on 13 days, at the Matilda Hospital, Mount Kellett, it was 3ins. 78 on 11 days, at Fanling, 2ins. 62 on 9 days, and at the Police Station, Taipo, 3ins. 35 on 12 days.
The lowest reading of the barometer (M.S.L.) was 29ins. 875 at 16h. 20m. on the 25th.
The maximum gust velocity of the wind, as recorded by the Dines-Baxendell anemograph, was at the rate of 57 miles per hour at 4h. ilm. on the 1st.
