No. 529. The following telegram which has been received from the Secretary of State for the Colonies is published for general information :---
LONDON, 6th November, 1919.
I am commanded by His Majesty the KING to send out to you for immediate publi- cation the following message which is addressed to all the peoples of the Empire :--
"To all my people. Tuesday next, November 11th, is the first anniversary of the Armistice which stayed the world-wide carnage of the four preced- ing years and marked the victory of Right and Freedom.
