SANITARY DEPARTMENT.

No. S. 441.- In accordance with section 168 of the Public Health and Buildings Ordinance, 1903, Ordinance No. 1 of 1903, it is hereby notified that the Government proposes to erect a Public Latrine on the southern portion of Kowloon Inland Lot No. 1700.

If any owner or occupier in the immediate vicinity of such site objects to such erection, such objection must be sent in writing to the Colonial Secretary so as to reach his office not later than Friday, the 21st day of November, 1930.

No. S. 442.—It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Motor Lorries", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Wednesday, the 12th day of November, 1930, for the purchase of the following used Lorries for breaking up purposes, together with spare parts:

1. Two Hallford 25 H.P., 23 tons Refuse Lorries, 1921 models. 2. Spare parts for above lorries.

Tenderers must produce a receipt that they have deposited in the Colonial Treasury the sum of $25 as a pledge of the bona fides of their tender, which sum shall be forfeited to the Crown, if any tenderer fails or refuses to carry out his tender, should such tender be accepted.

For Specification and Forms of Tender apply at the office of Storekeeper, Sanitary Department, from whom further particulars may be had on application.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the highest or any tender and reserves to itself the option of accepting FOR ALL OR ANY PART of the Specification.
