No. 381.--The following extract from the London Gazette dated the 6th June, 1919, is published for general information :-

GENERAL LICENCE.
OPENING CREDITS ON BEHALF OF ENEMIES.
4th June, 1919.
The Board of Trade, on behalf of His Majesty, and in pursuance of the powers reserved in the Trading with the Enemy Proclamations and all other powers thereunto them enabling, do hereby give and grant licence to all persons residing, carrying on business, or being in the United Kingdom to open credits on behalf of persons or bodies of persons in enemy countries, for the purpose of financing transactions authorised under the Trading with the Enemy legislation in the United Kingdom, or any other part of His Majesty's dominions, and transactions between persons residing or carrying on business outside His Majesty's dominions, which have been authorised by the Allied and Associated Governments or any of them.

COLONIAL SECRETARY'S DEPARTMENT.
No. 382. Travellers are reminded that the regulations concerning the admission of foreigners to Canton and other ports in China are still in force. All foreigners travelling to these ports are required to have passports.
No. 383. With reference to Government Notification No. 331 published in the Gazette of the 18th July, 1919, it is hereby notified that a general licence has been issued by the Board of Trade authorising trade between the United Kingdom and Hungary. The terms of the licence are similar to those in the case of Germany.

No. 384.-It is hereby notified that at the expiration of three months from the date hereof the SIEMENS CHINA ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING COMPANY, (HONGKONG), LIMITED, will, unless cause is shewn to the contrary, be struck off the Register and the Company will be dissolved.
