OTICE is hereby given that Bornemann and Company, of No, 5, Queen's Road Central, Victoria, Hong Kong, have, on the 27th day of June, 1930, applied for the re- gistration, in Hong Kong, in the Register of Trade Marks, of the following Trade Marks:-

The Trade Mark consists in the crackled or variegated appearance of the surface of a pencil produced by irregular lines of the Character shown in the above representation of the mark.

The said Trade Mark is to be registered in the name of Americau Lead Pencil Company, who claim to be the sole proprietors thereof.

The Trade Mark has been used by the Applicants in respect of :-- Pencils, in Class 39.

The Applicants disclaim the right to the exclusive use of the re- presentation of a pencil appearing in the Trade Mark.
