Marine Stores Collectors.
7. The annual licence fee payable by a Marine Stores Collector shall be five dollars per annum, payable in advance, and the dealer in Marine Stores through whom such hawker applies for a licence shall enter into a bond for $100 for the performance and observance by such collector of the conditions of such licence, and of the regulations affecting the same, and of the provisions of the Marine Stores Protection Ordinance, 1919.
A Marine Stores Collector's Licence shall be issued only to an individual person, and shall bear, on the face thereof, (inter alia) the date of the issue thereof and the name, and place of birth of the person to whom such licence is issued, and the date of expira- tion of such licence, which particulars shall be written in English and Chinese. Such licence shall also bear on the face thereof a photograph of the licensee.
The conditions of a Marine Stores Collector's Licence shall be as follows, and shall be printed, on the back of the Licence in English and Chines
1. This licence is not transferable.
2. The Licence Board must be kept exhibited in a conspicuous manner in some
conspicuous place on the body of the licensee.
3. Every licensee shall produce two copies of his photograph, one to be deposited in the Office of the Captain Superintendent of Police and the other to be affixed to his licence.
4. The licensee shall not ply the trade of a Marine Stores Collector nor shall he
be afloat on the harbour for any purpose between the hours of 6 and 6 a.m.
p.m.
5. The licensee shall not be entitled to sell but shall only be entitled to buy marine stores, and, as regards buying marine stores, shall only be entitled to buy marine stores (which term do not include provisions) of the same kind or kinds as the dealer, who applied for the licensee's licence, deals in.
6. Every licensee failing to comply with any of the above conditions, or con
victed of any offence, is liable to have his licence cancelled forthwith by the Captain Superintendent of Police.

With reference to Government Notification No. 300 of 1919, it is hereby notified that His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has declared Mr. AUGUSTUS SHELTON HOOPER to be duly elected a Member of the Licen- sing Board for a further period of three years, with effect from the 24th Jun 1919, in accordance with the rules governing the election of Justices of the Peace to serve on the Board.
