No. S. 228.--Tenders are invited for the supply of one single screw teak wood launch for the Port Health Officer. The cost is on no account to exceed $31,000 Hong Kong currency.

To be propelled by a Semi Diesel 72 B.H.P. Motor.
To be built generally in accordance with a design prepared by the Government Marine Surveyor a plan of which may be seen at the Government Marine Surveyor's Office.
The hull, machinery and equipment to be constructed throughout of first class materials to the entire approval of the Harbour Master and the Government Marine Surveyor who will examine and approve the plans and specifications before construction is commenced.
Three complete sets of plans to be supplied with the launch.
Tenders to state estimated speed of launch and also earliest date of delivery.
Tenders in quintuplicate with full specifications and detail plans will be received. at the Office of the Colonial Secretary up to Noon of Friday, the 27th June, 1930.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT.
No. S. 229.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for the Formation of a New Children's Playground, Kow- loon", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 16th day of June, 1930. The work consists of the Erection of a stone and concrete shelter, lavatory block, swings etc. and the enclosing of the ground with a wrought iron fence.
No work will be permitted on Sundays.
For form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at this Office. The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
