E beg to notify that the business of The
Strand East, Hong Kong, has been voluntary wound-up on the 28th day of April, 1927, by order of the partners. On the 27th day of August, 1927, it was announced that share capitals of various partners should be refunded to them and all partnership books should be surrendered to us. Sometime in the 10th inoon Ting Man Year (October to November, 1927), and the 6th moon Mo Shan Year, July to Angust, 1928), dividend of profits were re- spectively declared and coupons were issued to various partners. On the 19th day of Septem- ber, 1929, we have announced in both the Wah Tsz Yat Po and the Tsun Wan Yat Po, that a final dividend of profits was to be declared and paid on the 3rd day of October, 1929, and requested all the partners to apply to us for payment of their share capitals and dividends. They were also requested to apply to us for payment of same not later than the 29th day of March, 1930, otherwise we shall be com- pelled to pay any unclaimed share capitals and dividends into the Tung Wah Hospital, as a donation for charitable purpose. As the ap- pointed time has lapsed and there are few partners who fail to come forward to apply to us for payment of their share capital and dividends. we beg further to announce that un- less the same is applied for at or before noon on the 27th day of May. 1930, we shall have no alternative but to pay the same into the Tung Wah Hospital as aforesaid so as to close up the affairs of the said liquidation,
