No. S. 65. An experimental Wireless Beacon Station has been installed at Cape D'Aguilar for the purpose of enabling ships at sea to take wireless bearings.

The signals will consist of a series of the letters MO
(----) followed at intervals by de VPS.
...Call VPS on 500 kc/s (600 metres) using the abbre- viation QTL? When ready VPS will reply QTL QSY 800 and the ship operator will listen to the signals on 800 metres, giving acknowledgement of receipt on 600 metres.
The signals will be sent at any time on request from ships fitted with Direction Finders.
No charge is made for this service and no responsibility is accepted for the bearings. obtained.
Reports on the results obtained are requested from Masters of vessels equipped to receive these signals.
