Ordinance No. 14 of 1918.-An Ordinance to apply a sum not exceeding Ten million six hundred and five thousand three hun- dred and forty-five Dollars to the Public Service of the year 1919.

No. 127. The King's Exequatur empowering Mr. SERGIO CARBÓ Y MORERA to act as Consul for Cuba in Hongkong has received His Majesty's signature.

NOTICES.

COLONIAL SECRETARY'S DEPARTMENT.

No. 128. It is hereby notified that an examination, open to all qualified natural- born British subjects, for appointment in the Civil Service of India, will take place in London in the month of August, 1919, and that copies of the regulations, syllabus of examination, and forms of application to be filled up by the candidates may be seen on application at this office.

No. 129. It is hereby notified with reference to clause I sub-clauses (1), (2) and (3) of the Censorship Regulations, 1917, published in the Gazette on the 23rd March, 1917, as Government Notification No. 112, that the following modifications are made from this date :-

The censorship on all Naval matter will be removed, i.e., Press, Authors, Artists, Photographers, and Cinematographers will not be required to submit anything to Naval censorship; that is to say, they will revert to their pre-war practice.

The censorship on all Naval matter held up during the war will be removed. Photographs, &c., of His Majesty's Ships and books on Naval subjects, the sale of which has been prohibited during the war, may accordingly be exhi- bited and sold.
