No. 92. His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has, under instructions received from the Secretary of State for the Colonies, been pleased to appoint Mr. CHARLES MCILVAINE MESSER, O.B.E., to be Colonial Treasurer and Collector of Stamp Revenue in place of Mr. ALEXANDER MACDONALD THOMSON, retired, with effect from the 11th December, 1918.

No. 93. His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased to appoint, under the provisions of Section 10 of the Medical Registration Ordi- nance, 1884, Ordinance No. 1 of 1884, Mrs. ALICE DEBORAH HICKLING, L.R.C.P., M.R.C.S., to be a Member of the Medical Board, vice Mrs. DAISY ANNABELA MURDOCH GALE resigned, for a term of three years, with effect from the 26th February, 1919.

His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased to appoint, under the provisions of Section 10 of the Medical Registration Ordi- nance, 1884, Ordinance No. 1 of 1884, Dr. GEORGE HAROLD THOMAS to be a Member of the Medical Board during the absence from the Colony of Dr. JAMES HERBERT SANDERS, with effect from the 9th February, 1919.

No. 95. His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased to appoint Lieutenant MONTAGUE WHITE STEVENS, A.R.C.S. (London), F.I.C., R.A.O.C., to act as Assistant Government Analyst until further notice, with effect from the 30th January, 1919.

No. 96.--With reference to Government Notification No. 71 published in the Gazette of the 14th February, 1919, His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has appointed the following gentlemen, in addition to those already notified, to be members of the Committee to consider the measures to be taken to celebrate the conclusion of Peace, and the manner in which the victory of the Allied arms shall be commemorated in the Colony of Hongkong:--
