PRISON DEPARTMENT.
No. S. 411.---It is hereby notified, that separate tenders in triplicate, which should be sealed and clearly marked "Tender for the supply of Rations to Indian Prison Staff" for the supply and delivery of the articles therein mentioned as required to the Prison Department, Hong Kong, and the Laichikok Branch Prison, from the 1st January, 1929, to the 31st December, 1929, inclusive, will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Saturday, the 8th December, 1928.
No tender will be considered unless the person tendering produces a receipt to the effect that he has deposited in the Colonial Treasury the sum of $100 as a pledge of the bona fides of his offer, which sum shall be forfeited to the Crown, if such person refuses to carry out his tender.
A ration consists of following:-

The successful tenderer will be required to sign an agreement and to give security. to the satisfaction of the Government in the sun of $500.

No. S. 412.—In accordance with section 168 of the Public Health and Buildings Ordinance No. 1 of 1903, it is hereby notified that the Government proposes to erect a Public Latrine to the east of Lot No. 1549, Shek O.
If any owner or occupier in the immediate vicinity of such site objects to such erection, such objection must be sent in writing to the Colonial Secretary so as to reach his office not later than Friday, the 14th day of December, 1928.
