No. S. 55.-It is hereby notified that scaled tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Raising of Time Ball Tower, Kowloon ", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 12th day of March, 1928. The work consists of the building work in connection with increasing the height of the Time Ball Tower by approximately 20 feet.
No work will be permitted on Sundays.
For form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at this Office.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
No. S. 56.--It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in quintuplicate, which should be clearly marked “Tender for Repairs to Government. Dredger No.. 1", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Tuesday, the 13th day of March, 1928.
A list of work may be obtained at the Government Slipway, Yaunati.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
The work to be carried out to the satisfaction of the Government Marine Surveyor.

No. 75.-Notice is hereby given that the Governor proposes to make an order under the Streets (Alteration) Ordinance, 1923, for the closing, permanently, of the undermentioned roads :-
(1) That section of Oak Street, Tai Kok Tsui, North of Fuk Tsun Street, (2) That section of Pine Street, Tai Kok Tsui, North of Fuk Tsun Street, (3) That section of Junk Street between Beech Street and Oak Street, Tai Kok
Tsui.
Any person objecting to the proposed order must send his objection in writing to the Colonial Secretary not later than the 9th day of March, 1928.
Such objection must state the reasons therefor and specify the property with regard to the ownership or occupation of which such objection is made and the interest therein
of the objector.
