URBAN COUNCIL. OFFICE.

No. S. 563.-In accordance with section 53 of the Public Health (Sanitation) Ordinance, 1935, Ordinance No. 15 of 1935, it is hereby notified that the Government proposes to erect three temporary latrines on the following sites:-

(1) Crown Land 30 feet South West of Lot No.561, S.D. 4 and 100 feet West

of Lot No. 562, S.D. 4, Kap Shek Mi Village.

(2) Crown Land 40 feet East of Lot No. 574 S.D. 4 and 130 feet South West of

Lot No. 554, S.D. 4, Kap Shek Mi Village.

(3) Crown Land S0 feet to the West of house on Lot No. 3282, S.D. 4 and 200

feet South of Lot No. 634, S.D. 4, Kap Shek Mi Village.

If any owner or occupier in the immediate vicinity of such sites objects to such

erections, the objection must be sent in writing to the Colonial Secretary so as to reach his office not later than Friday, the 20th day of December, 1940.

No. S. 564.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in quadruplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for the supply of Tricycle Number Plates", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 9th day of December, 1940.

More or less 3,000 Tricycle Nuumber Plates of approved shape.

No tender will be received, unless the person tendering produces a receipt to thef effect that he has deposited in the Colonial Treasury the sum of $50 as a pledge of the bona fides of his offer, which sum shall be forfeited to the Crown, if such person fails or refuses to carry out his tender, should the tender be accepted.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
