NOTICE OF FIRING PRACTICE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DEFENCES (FIRING AREAS) ORDINANCE, 1936.
1. Light gun firing practice will be carried out on the 11th November, 1940, between the hours of 6.00 p.m. and 12.00 midnight.
Firing Areas "D" and "E" will be affected.
2. Firing practice, as under, is notified for 12th November, 1940:-
(a) Heavy gun Anti-Aircraft practice in the south-eastern area of the Island
between the hours of 9.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m.
Firing Areas "B" and "C" will be affected.
(b) Heavy gun firing practice between the hours of 4.00 p.m. and 10.00 p.m.
Firing Areas "C" and "D" will be affected.
Alternative date-14th November, 1940.
(c) Light gun firing practice between the hours of 6.00 p.m. and 12.00
midnight.
Firing Areas D" and "E" will be affected.
3. Firing practice, as under, is notified for 13th November, 1940:-
(a) Heavy gun Anti-Aircraft practice in the south-eastern area of the Island
between the hours of 9.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m.
Firing Areas"B" and "C" will be affected.
(b) Light gun firing practice between the hours of 9.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m.
Firing Areas"B" and "C" will be affected.
4. Firing practice, as under, is notified for 14th November, 1940:-

(a) Light gun firing practice between the hours of 9.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m.
Firing Areas "C" and "D" will be affected.
(b) Light gun Anti-Aircraft practice between the hours of 9.00 a.m. and 4.00
p.m. in the south-eastern area of the Island.
Firing Areas"B" and "C" will be affected.
(c) Light gun firing practice between the hours of 6.00 p.m. and 12.00
midnight.
Firing Areas "D" and "E" will be affected.
5. Firing practice, as under, is notified for 15th November, 1940:—
(a) Heavy gun practice between the hours of 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m.
Alternative date-17th November, 1940.
Firing Areas"B" and "C" will be affected.
(b) Light gun Anti-Aircraft practice between the hours of 9.00 a.m. and 4.00
p.m. in the south-eastern area of the Island.
Firing Areas"B" and "C" will be affected.
(c) Light gun firing practice between the hours of 6.00 p.m. and 12.00
midnight.
