No. S. 481.- It is hereby notified that information has been received from His Britannic Majesty's Consul-General, Bangkok, (Thailand), to the effect that every vessel sailing from Hong Kong into Thai Waters on or after 12th September, 1940, if entering the port of Bangkok, shall stop at the Quarantine Station at Smut Prakan (Paknam) for inspection and further instructions by the Medical Officers. Moreover, all persons travelling therefrom into Thailand are required to produce for presentation to the Medical Officers, certificates of anti-cholera inoculation, performed within a period of not less than six days and not exceeding six months; failing which such persons shall be inoculated againt colera and kept under surveillance or observation as are deemed necessary by the said officers within a period of five days.

No. S. 482.—It is hereby notified that the following Sale of Crown Land by Public Auction will be held at the District Office, South, Queen's Building, 2nd floor, Hong Kong, at 11 a.m., on Friday, the 25th day of October, 1940.
The Lots are sold for the term of seventy-five years from the 1st day of July, 1898, with the right of renewal for a further term of 24 years less the last 3 days at a re-assessed Crown Rent, Serial Nos. 1 to 4 as Building Lots, and Serial No. 5 as an Agricultural Lot, subject to the General Conditions of Sale published in Government Notification No. 364 of 1934, as amended by Government Notification No. 50 of 1940, Serial Nos. 1 to 4 are further subject to Special Conditions Nos. 2 (a) and (b), and Serial No. 5 is further subject to Special Conditions Nos. 1 (a) and (b), in the above Government Notification.
The amounts to be spent on the building lots in Serial Nos. 1 to 4 in rateable improvements under the General Condition No. 5 are $250, $1,500, $1,500 and $15,000 respectively.
