3. Firing practice, as under, is notified for 26th September, 1940:-
(a) Light gun firing practice between the hours of 9.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. Firing Areas "D" and "E" will be affected.
Alternative date-28th September, 1940.
(b) Anti-Aircraft practice in the Southern area of the Island between the
hours of 9.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m.
Firing Areas "D" and "C" will be affected.
(e) Light gun firing practice will be carried out between the hours of 6.00
p.m. and 12.00 midnight.
Firing Areas "D" and "E" will be affected.
4. Firing practice, as under, is notified for 27th September, 1940:-
(a) Light gun firing practice between the hours of 9.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. Firing Areas "D" and "E" will be affected.
Alternative date-28th September, 1940.
(b) Heavy gun firing practice between the hours of 10.00 a.m. and 12 noon. Firing Areas"C" and "D" will be affected.
5. In accordance with sub-section 4 of section 4 of the Defences (Firing Areas) Ordinance, 1936, masters of vessels and pilots of aircraft exempt from the operation of this Ordinance under section 10, are warned to assist in the carrying out of the firing practice by hastening through the firing areas affected or by consenting to be towed out of the firing area, if necessary, by any vessel acting under the orders of the Military Authorities.

Navigable Channels.
(1) Date.-On and after 11th September, 1940.
Position.-Eastern Entrance to Keppel Harbour between No. 18 Beacon and
Eastern extremity of East Wharf.
Details.-Obstructions laid.
(2) The only eastern entrances to Keppel Harbour are:
(a) Through Selat Semgkir.
(b) Between the following positions:-
“A” 228° distant 400 ft. from the Red flashing light on the sunken
hulks.
"B" 228° distant 1000 ft. from the Red flashing light on the sunken
hulks.
