No. S. 303.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Temporary Quarters for Guards, Shek Li Pui", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Tuesday, the 2nd day of July, 1940. This work consists of the erection of matsheds and brick kitchens, etc.
As security for the proper performance of the works under this contract, the successful tenderer will be required to deposit, in cash, a sum of $750 with the Accountant-General.
Any tenderer may be required as a condition of the consideration or acceptance of his tender to supply full particulars of the constitution of his firm.
No work will be permitted on Sundays.
For form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at this Office.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

No. 8. 304.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Temporary Wooden Hut at Salisbury Road, Kowloon, for Auxiliary Fire Service Station ", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 8th day of July, 1940. The work consists of the erection of a temporary one storey wooden hut, fencing and drainage.
As security for the proper performance of the works under this contract, the successful tenderer will be required to deposit, in cash, a sum of $1,000 with the Accountant-General,
