MALACCA STRAIT-EASTERN SHORE-APPROACHES TO KLANG STRAIT,

New Signal Station established.

Date. On May 16th, 1940.

Position.-Tanjong Rhu. Latitude 2° 50′ 18" N., Longitude 101° 18' 00" E.

Remarks.--Masters of vessels, bound for Port Swettenham, are requested to hoist their national colours and house flags when passing the Signal Station. The Signal Station will answer by hoisting the house-flag, where held, over the Answering Pendant. Where a house-flag is not in the possession of the Signal Station, the Answering Pendant only will be hoisted. The ship will be reported by telephone to the Signal Station at Port Swettenham where the signals will be repeated for the information of ships' agents étc.

The Signal Station at Tanjong Sarang Lang (Deep Water Point) will be closed down when the new Signal Station is put into operation.
