It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Kai Tak Airport-Nullah Diversion-First Section", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Tuesday, the 14th day of May, 1940, for the construction of a stormwater overflow channel, circular sewers and semi-circular culverts and a road bridge, the widening of the nullah in Sam Tak Road and demolition of the decking of No. 2 Nullah, together with all necessary contingent works.

As security for the proper performance of the works under this contract, the successful tenderer will be required to deposit, in cash, a sum of $15,000 with the

Accountant-General.

Any tenderer may be required as a condition of the consideration or acceptance of his tender to supply full particulars of the constitution of his firm.

For form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at this Office.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
