It is hereby notified that scaled tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Re-construction of So Kun Wat Bridge (Bridge No. 13)", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 6th day of May, 1940. This work comprises the demolition of the existing bridge at So Kun Wat and the construction of a new bridge in reinforced concrete and all other contingent works.

As security for the proper performance of the works under this contract, the successful tenderer will be required to deposit, in cash, a sum of $6,000 with the Accountant-General.

Any tenderer may be required as a condition of the consideration or acceptance of his tender to supply full particulars of the constitution of his firm.

No work will be permitted on Sundays.

For form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at this Office.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
