OTICE is hereby given that the Order of the Supreme Court of Hong Kong dated the 30th day of November 1939, confirming the reduction of the capital of the above named Company from:£1,750,000 to £875,000, arid the minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the capital of the Company as altered the several particulars required by the above Ordinance, was registered by the Registrar of Companies on the lét day of Dedember 1939. The said minute is in the words and figures following:-

“The capital of the Standard Trans- portation Company Limited, hence- forth is £875,000 divided into 1,750,000shares of Tan shillings each instead of £1,750,000 divided into 1,750,000 shares of £1 each. At the time of the registration of the minute the sum of Ten shillings

has been and is deemed paid up on each of the said shares.'

NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to a notice given to the Registrar of Com- panies on the 30th day of May 1939 it is the intention of the above-named Company to make application to the said Registrar on Saturday, the 16th day of December 1939 for the release of the securities deposited with him in respect of fire insurance business previously carried on by the Company on satisfying the said Registrar that from the time of giving such notice until the said date of the intended withdrawal, such Company; *has not carried on the business of fire insur- ance in the Colony.

NOTICE is hereby further given that any objection to such release should before the

date of application be sent to the Registrar of Companies.

above named Company duly convened

"That it has been proved to the satisfac- tion of this Meeting that the Com- pany cannot, by reason of its liabili ties, continue its business and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the Company be wound up voluntarily, and that Thomas Archdale Martin, Incor- porated Accountant, of Prince's Building, No. 1 Des Voeux Road Central, Victoria, aforesaid, be appointed Liquidator for the pur- pose of such winding-up."
