With reference to Notice to Mariners No. 118/1939 of 22nd August, 1939.
ENTRANCE TO SANTU INLET AND LOYUAN BAY.
The danger zone has been intensified and extend all over the Bay of Santuao.

SINGAPORE STRAIT AJAX SHOAL.
Light buoy painted red exhibiting a white flashing light every three seconds will shortly be replaced on Northern side of Ajax Shoal in position Lat. 01 degrees 13 mins. 48 secs. N. Long. 103 degrees 39 mins. 48 secs. E. This buoy is liable to be withdrawn at any time without notice.

Details:-Mariners are again reminded that there are dangerous MINEFIELDS
off the Port.
Therefore they must take especial care to obtain all published information as to the existing situation before arrival. Wireless sets should be manned at the times laid down. by International Agreement in order that the four-hourly broadcasts may be received with certainty.
Singapore is an absolutely safe port if Masters will take the trouble to get the necessary information which by now should be world-wide.
Masters who disobey or neglect to obtain this information do so at their own risk.
