NOTICES TO MARINERS.

No. 214/1939.

On 8th November, 1939, a naval target adrift in position Lat. 23° 25′ N., Long. 117 47' E. This target constitutes a serious danger to navigation and is reported to be prifting in a W.S.W. direction of about 18 miles per day.

Any vessels sighting this target should report the fact to the British Naval Authori- ties at the next port of call.

No. 215/1939.

SAIGON APPROACHES.

Cap Saint Jacques Light and the other Lights of the Saigon River have been reduced to half strength. The Kua-Tieu and Soirap River Lights have been extinguished. When approaching Saigon, Signal Letters and National Flags are to be flown by day. By night, Navigation Lights are to be shown and Signal Letters made by morse lamp.

HAIPHONG APPROACH.

The light on the buoy at the entrance to the KUA-NAM-TRIEU Channel has been extinguished.

No. 217/1939.

SINGAPORE APPROACHES.

The Sultan Shoal Light has been relit.
